We’re back with another session of Earth Art Classes, with brand new topics for a brand new year! Two Wednesdays a month from 10:30-11:30am, we’ll meet with homeschoolers 4-10 years in age to learn about and make art together.
Winter session dates are: January 31st, February 14th & 28th, and March 14th & 28th.

For our winter session, we’ll be focusing on learning about some of the masters in art history, and their unique techniques. We’ll introduce students to artists such as Andy Goldsworthy, Jackson Pollock, Georgia O’ Keefe, Alberto Giacometti, Paul Cezanne, Claude Monet, and more. We’ll create small projects in sculpture, impermanent art, en plein air, and still life. Students will have the opportunity to get hands-on with 2D and 3D materials this session, create art through movement and open body positions, and (weather permitting) will also get to create in the fresh air during one of our classes*.

*Please note that one of our classes this session will be scheduled at a different location, at an area park, to get students outside in a natural setting for the En Plein Air class. Parents will need to drop-off and pick-up at our chosen park for this one day. If weather is not cooperating this day, we will have a back-up topic planned and will meet in the studio as usual.

Early bird pricing: $55 (for 5 classes). Add an additional child for $50. (Classes are regularly $13 each.) Students must be pre-registered by January 16th to take advantage of the early-bird discount.
